Training modes
Create and customize reusable training presets.
Training modes are reusable presets stored inside each document. Use the Add menu to create one of four types:
- Slideshow reveals word content step by step.
- Learning Card Test lets you judge whether you knew each answer.
- Multiple Choice Test asks you to choose from possible answers.
- Written Test checks an answer you type.
Select a mode in the sidebar to rename it and adjust its options.
Common options
- Direction: source to target, target to source, both, or a probability mix.
- Random Words: shuffle the selected words.
- Method: Normal, Until Learned, or Continuous.
- Timer: no timer, elapsed time, or remaining time.
- Retries: choose when the solution appears and whether wrong answers are translated back.
- Train Only: limit the session to due words, selected labels, random words, difficult words, or words not answered recently.
- Comments and Labels: choose when supporting information appears.
- Media: control when media is shown or played and whether text is spoken.
Multiple-choice modes also set the number of choices and can delay showing them. A non-slideshow mode can begin with a slideshow of new words.
