Add images
Add, capture, generate, and view images for vocabulary entries.
An image can make a word easier to recognize and can be shown during slideshows and training.
Open a word's image menu to:
- choose an image from Photos or a file;
- take a photo on iPhone or iPad;
- paste an image from the clipboard;
- generate an image with Image Playground on a supported device; or
- remove the current image.
You can also drag image data onto a word where drag and drop is available. Tap or click an image in the word details to view it at full size.
Select several words on Mac to apply the same image or remove their images as a batch.
Generate vocabulary from a photographed list
To turn a vocabulary sheet into editable entries, use Generate from Image rather than adding the photo to a single word.
