Work with word lists

Sort, display, select, move, and export words.

Open a lesson, chapter, Magic Page, or All Words on iPhone and iPad to see a word list.

Sort and display

Sort by number, source, target, last answer, next review, difficulty, or label. On Mac, click a column heading and customize visible columns. On iPhone, use the More menu to choose a compact layout, sort order, image visibility, and fonts.

Select words

Use Select on iPhone or iPad, or normal table selection on Mac. Actions for selected words include:

• cut, copy, paste, and delete;
• flag or unflag;
• assign a label;
• import, record, play, or remove audio;
• add or remove images; and
• export as CSV.

Pasted words are added to the one selected lesson. Export uses the current selection when words are selected; otherwise it uses the current lesson, chapter, or complete document.

Train a list directly

Open More > Train on iPhone or iPad, or the context menu on a chapter or lesson, and choose a slideshow or training mode. This starts with the current list instead of the globally checked lessons.
