Speech synthesis
Let iVocabulary speak source and target text with system voices.
iVocabulary can speak text in either document language with the voices installed on the device.
Select a word and use its Audio menu to choose Start speaking for the source or target. If a word has no recorded audio, the play control can also fall back to speech where the text and language support it.
Under Training settings, enable speech synthesis for the source language, target language, or both. A training mode's Media options decide whether words are spoken automatically.
Speech quality and language availability depend on the system voice. Download or change voices in the device's accessibility or spoken-content settings when necessary.
Recorded audio stays attached to the word and can be shared in a native iVocabulary document. Synthesized speech is produced on demand and is not stored as a recording.
