Configure languages
Set language names and written-answer matching rules.
Open Document in the sidebar to edit the source and target languages. Choose a predefined language or enter a custom name such as “Biology” or “Medical Terms.”
For written tests, each language has independent checks for:
- letter case;
- accents;
- punctuation; and
- spaces.
When a check is off, that difference does not make an answer wrong.
Facultative Words contains articles or filler words that may be omitted from a written answer. Enter the values expected by the language configuration.
Language information is also used to choose keyboards and system voices when possible. Use Fonts for scripts that need a different font or larger text.
