Getting started
Choose the separator and header row
Tell Tablify how your values are separated and whether the first line holds column names.
Separator
By default, Tablify detects the separator in your text. It recognizes:
- Comma (
,), common in CSV exports - Semicolon (
;), common in CSV files from apps set to European number formats - Tab, common when you copy cells from a spreadsheet
If the columns in the preview don’t look right, turn off Auto in the toolbar and choose the separator yourself, or use Edit › Separator. To go back to automatic detection, turn Auto back on, or choose Edit › Auto Detect Separator.
Header row
By default, Tablify treats the first line of your text as column names and formats it as the table header. If the first line is already data, turn off Header in the toolbar, or choose Edit › Header Row.
