Getting started
Convert text to a table
Paste comma-, semicolon-, or tab-separated text and copy it as a table.
- Open Tablify and paste your text into the editor on the left. Each line becomes a row.
- Check the preview on the right. Tablify detects whether the values are separated by commas, semicolons, or tabs.
- Tablify treats the first line as column names. If your text has no column names, turn off Header in the toolbar.
- Choose Edit › Copy (⌘C) to copy the table.
- Paste it into your document, for example in Confluence, Bear, Apple Notes, Pages, Mail, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs.
Tablify copies the table as rich text and as tab-separated values at the same time, so each app can pick the format it understands. If the preview doesn’t split the columns correctly, see Choose the separator and header row.
