From text to table, without the detour

Do you open Numbers or Excel just to turn a few lines of CSV into a table? Or keep an empty spreadsheet around for exactly that? Tablify does the job in one step: paste your text, see the table right away, and copy it where you need it.

Paste CSV, check the table, copy it—and it arrives in Bear as a real table.

Pastes as a table where you write

Tablify copies the table as rich text and as tab-separated values at the same time, so the app you paste into picks the format it understands best. It arrives as a real table in Confluence, Bear, Apple Notes, Pages, Mail, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs.

Reads your data the way it was written

Tablify detects whether your text uses commas, semicolons, or tabs. You can also choose the separator yourself. Tablify formats the first line as the table header; turn off Header when your text has no column names.

Copy everything, or just what you need

Copy puts the whole table on the clipboard in every format. When a destination needs one specific format, choose Copy as… and pick tab-separated values, RTF, or RTFD only. Right-click a row or a column header to copy just that row or column.

Right where you work

You don’t even need to open the Tablify window. From the Services menu in other apps, Tablify can copy selected text as a table, paste the clipboard as a table, or replace the selected text with a table in place. In the Shortcuts app, the Convert Text to Table action turns text into tab-separated table text as part of your own automations, or by asking Siri.

A real Mac app, under 1 MB

Tablify is a native Mac app built with Apple’s own frameworks—no web view, no Electron, no spreadsheet running in the background. It takes up less than 1 MB on disk and starts right away. That is also why it can plug into the Services menu and the Shortcuts app like any app that was made for the Mac.

One price, no data collected

Tablify is a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store, €4.99 in Germany, with local prices set by Apple in other countries. There is no subscription, and with Family Sharing up to six family members can use it. We do not collect any data in Tablify.

Tablify requires macOS 15.2 or later and is available in English and German.
